Frank Darabont directed The Shawshank Payoff and published the movie script based on the novel Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption by writer Stephen King. The movie was performed in 1994 and created by Niki Marvin. The movie stars Morgan Freeman and Bernard Robbins because two convicts serving time in a New Great britain prison named Shawshank. Harry Robbins takes on a man named Andy Dufresne, a bank, who gets convicted of murdering his wife and her lover and is delivered to prison in Shawshank. Andy eventually becomes good friends which has a fellow convict by the name of Ellis Boyd Redding(Morgan Freeman) who is able to receive anything for anyone within reason. The story follows the penitentiary life of Andy Dufresne and his final escape coming from Shawshank's surfaces. The components of unique cinematography, a formalistic style of course, and an excellent movie script, Darabont uses in this film are extremely important to portraying the themes, and selling the storyline. The most unique portion about design for the movie is in the cinematography by simply Roger Deakins. Deakins utilizes tools like a blue filtration system in order to convey emotions, and portray moments through different lights. The filters give a special splendor to the displays, which in turn triggers more dramatic feelings to get the audience. With this blue filter the movie tends to enhance the two styles of blue and brownish. These colors are dually used by Deakins to portray either darker or light. The blues of the uniforms are all the more dramatic in comparison to the drab darkish buildings encircling the prisoners. The colors as well produce dramatic irony in the last scene of Red and Andy for the beach. The blue and brown colours that when gave thoughts of confinement and despair in the penitentiary are now colors of liberty and joy.
